Soon, the new extension to the Discalced Carmelite Monastery at 18 Rakowicka Street in Kraków, designed by our team, will become fully visible.
The various parts of the monastery, added over the decades, are united by the use of natural brick—a material that also plays a key role in our design.
The project was conceived as a continuation of the architectural character of the existing monastery. The building’s scale, proportions, and contemporary detailing have been carefully designed to integrate harmoniously with the historic architecture.
We hope that the new building will become a fitting addition to this important public space in Kraków.

We received Second Prize in the architectural competition for the development of an architectural and sculptural concept, as well as the realisation of the reconstruction of the fountain on Kraków’s Main Market Square! The idea behind the project is to restore the intimate atmosphere of this part of the Market Square, associated with the historic fountain by Professor Zin, while preserving the functionality of both the fountain and the skylight. The historic space of the Discalced Carmelite monastery requires adaptation and investment so that it can serve social purposes and be a safe place for rest, work, and prayer for everyone, without excluding people with disabilities. The development and renovation project for the monastery includes three main zones: the workshop–educational–recreational zone, the inner well-being zone, and the guest zone. The “Sea of Architecture” series was created in Koszalin in 2016 and has now returned after a five-year break. The meetings, held under the theme “Architecture and Music,” are accompanied by chamber concerts, and the meetings themselves take place on the stage of the Koszalin Philharmonic. Listen: prk24.pl
